Century Arms is the only company I know right now that is making CETME rifles. They are still having quality issues with CETME, though they are much improved over pre-2002 models. CETME parts are starting to dry up since spain doesnt make it anymore so the condition of the parts can be rougher than previous generations. The G3/Hk91 built on an american reciever would be a better choice even if it is double the price of the CETME because the parts are newer, in better condition, and the fit and finish tends to be much better. CETME is a 50/50 rifle. When it's good, it's everything a rifle should be at dirt cheap prices. When it's bad, you'll be hating life...
As for the mount, some G3 mounts will work on the CETME, but not all.
