You might check the archives, If it's still there I wrote a step by step back in Dec or January...I haven't been able to locate many of those old posts though. Can't do it right this second. I will later today or tonight though...

As you push the spring back onto the slide, use the off hand to wrap all the way around the spring and make sure to keep a good grip on the plug. I wish I could offer more help, but you just have to be careful.
