If I were to buy the checkered frontstrap That wilson combat sells...Would I be able to put it on my AC II with zero problems. It says it is a easy install, you just need a screwdriver. Also if you do have one, how do you like it? It seems like a nice feature if you want to do cheaper checkering.

The Wilson Cheese Grater?

Try some grip tape. I've never cared for the Grater and I'm a Wilson fan.

I bought one and during my range sessions, it would slide down and interfere with seating a magazine during reloads.

However, it did convince me that I "needed" front strap checkering, though :biglaugh:.

Send it to Springfield Custom shop they will do a great machine cut checker job at a great price and a good turn around time. It cost me about $150.00 that includes shipping both ways and they send it back overnight shipping. I could not be happier with 2 pistols they did for me.
