Looking for opinion on these from smiths and people who have owned /shot them. I really am leaning towards a Springfield Champion i think it is , full sized frame 4" Barrell with the Full meltdown , stainless of course , not a bad price really at 1400 or so , just about hwhat i have in my stupid kimber now includinmg gun cost , but i'd like some guys opinions of the overall operations at Clark and reputation in the field

i should be getting my springfield back from clark in about a week. i'm having an accuracy job(reliablitiy job included), checker front strap and s&a magwell installed. i'll let you know how it comes out.

what you might want to consider is to send your kimber in and have work done it instead of buying a new pistol, eg, get a meltdown and accuracy job done on your kimber.
