Can someone clear up the confusion. Is there a symbol for Clays and Universal Clays that can help this reloader tell them apart? I read that people are using Clays to load, are they loading Universal Clays or just Clays. Help!

There is no "symbol" to tell Clays from Universal Clays. The name has to be spelled out. Most reloaders will make the distinction, but some don't. Do not depend on what "people" say they are loading, check every load against Hodgdon literature or manual. I think it was irresponsible for Hodgdon to give three powders the same basic name, but they did and we are stuck with it. Double check all load data.
