okay everyone, i gotta question:

can i just spray some gun scrubber in my mags and then put a couple of drops of clp, or should i just disassemble them, to be more thourough? how do you (forgive me) disas. a wilson mag 8rd, shotting star? thanks for the help. i just don't want to screw things up.

Can't really answer your question but thought I would bring this back to the top. About 6/15 there was a question on maintenance of mags by JacRyan and a person answered who has Wilsons. Perhaps you could go to that post and then email the person.

In 1911 TIPS and FAQ I psoted instructions on disassembling magazines.

Either method of cleaning will work but you should take 'em apart once in a while to check for damage.
