Do these things come apart?

I have 5, and one of them is "weird" -- I think the follower is bent inside.

I was wanting to take it apart, but I'm not seeing how that would be accomplished.

Or I guess I could just send it back. It's less than a month old.

disassembly of shooting star mags

The shooting star mags have a welded base plate so the the only way to disassemble is through the top. You will have to get the load off the follower. This can be done by pushing the follower down and sticking something into the holes on the mag body. Once the spring pressure is off the follower you may be able to positioin the follower to slip through the feed lips.

Be careful not to bend up the feed lips...I have seen a few mags come apart when the slide locks back and the follower and spring shoot out the top of the mag body while still in the pistol.
