OK -

I picked up a Government Model the other day and I can't find the serail # cross-reference anywhere. Best I can tell it was made in 1976 or so, as it begins with 090 and ends with B70. Am I right?

Any sites that would list a Series 70 Gov't Model for that time frame?

Call Colt M-F EST during business hours (at 1-800-962-colt, IIRC) and they'll tell you.

Colt began using the N70 suffix for the GCNM in 1981.
