I was setting up at a Gun Show in Fort Worth, Texas yesterday and saw Colt had made a few of the guns as they were originally issued. Well as close as one can get in this day and age.

The gun has the old style spur hammer, safety, lanyard ring, parkerized and markings.

The Retail Operation said it had all of the original markings to look the same other than, originally stated Property of U.S. Government (something like that). This one was marked. Colt 1911 Government, on the forward edge of the dust cover.

Got to heft it and it really felt good.

I didn't catch the price.

Any others showing up around the nation?
