It's a 5.5in barrel polished blue

It has R.A.C. stamped in the upper frame above the right grip panel and another stamp that looks like a circled WC? on the same side at the very rear of the top strap.
The bottom of the grip frame is stamed U.S. Army 1909 and has the same R.A.C on the bottom of the right grip panel.
Anyone that can help with approx value (condition is a strong 60%) and date of manufacture?

That's not a Colt M1917, that's a Colt M1909. New Service revolvers, of which the M1909 is a sub-set, are pretty valuable, especially in .45 caliber. Military collectors like them, too. Values are regional, but I'd think at least $500, if the bore and chambers are in good shape.
