colt 1991 trigger

ive added a colt steel trigger,the plain jane type.problem is; there is alot of creep before the hammer(which is a wilson combat)finally releases. what items do i need to get a crisp 3.5 pound trigger pull?i was told by a collector at a gun show that id pay about 50 bucks to get this but he would notsay what would be done.
