Just purchased a Colt off the used rack that has Compact stamped on the slide. Yet it is the same size and setup as the Officer model.
Can anyone tell me the diff. Thanks

"Compact" is what Colt calls the '91A1 version of the Officers ACP. Cosmetics are the only difference.

Just bought one for the wife and we love it.
Only thing I've done to it is replace the plastic trigger with a GI checkered one. Trigger pull got much better.

I paid 399.00. It has some really nice looking smooth wood grips with worm holes,
dark brown color. I left it at the shop to
have an extended safety and beaver tail installed. I order a new trigger and rear sight from Chip McCormick. The rear sight is his new drop in replacement. Oh yes I called Milt Sparks and order a Watch 6 holster. Now
the real question is what do I tell my wife.
