My friend has a Combat Elite that he wants to know the going rate for. It is new in box (still has cardboard) and unfired. About 6-7 years old. I know these poasts are hard. Just looking for ballpark price.

Ballpark... $750 +/-$100 depending on Region, condition, etc... New In the Box, sometimes means fired a couple time's, but still not broken in, sometime's mean's never fired, but handled alot, sometimes means never handled, just stored...

Anyway, you may do better than $750, but shouldn't have to do much higher than that. They tend to run about par with a Gold Gup.

I saw 2 recently in Harrys Army Navy in New Jersey and one was 650.00 in 95% and the other was 750.00 and looked 99% if not new. I saw a NIB one a few months ago At Sportsman Center for 650.00. Hope this helps.
I wouldn't sell mine for 900 because its one of the best Colts I've ever had.

Very good point... No matter how much the "Market" determine's price... Any of my gun's mean enough to me that if you really want it, and I am even considering selling it, it will take "Ben" and quite a few of the "Franklin" family to convince me to part with one

I picked up a Combat Elite that had custom gun work done by Kings Gunworks. Earlier I had purchased a Beretta 92FS in stainless but was not pleased with it's feel as I've been shooting the 1911 for over 30 years. I placed the Beretta for sale on Gunbroker.com and received an email one day from a police officer who wanted to trade his Combat Elite for my Beretta. I of course jumped on the deal and when I received the CE it was in mint condition and found at the range it handled and shot as well as my Wilson combat CQB.

Now, I have an extra 3rd generation Glock 17 with 5 10rnd magazines and 1700 rounds of factory ammo, anyone want to trade their Combat Elite for this?

John

Thanks. I kind of figured $700.00 or so. He kept saying $1000.00. It is NIB and unfired. stored for the last few years. Thanks again !

I have a Wilson Combat KZ-45 Tactical Carry Pistol with four mags that I would be interested in trading for a Colt Combat Elite that is minty. If anyone knows of someone that might be interested let me know thanks, Mike.
