Hey guys, I hope you all aren't too tired of seeing this gun. I have at least gotten good practice taking pictures. The gun is finally finished, for the time being.

A little more background on the gun for those of you that didn't see it earlier.

The finish is manganese phosphate park.

Really incredible, what a transformation. I don't think I have ever seen a gun that was just parkerized (as opposed to cerakote or something else over park) look that smooth.

Eventually we probably will cerakote it, and possible have the roll marks restored. That is why I only parked it for now. For now its just going to get carried and hopefully shot a lot.

Yes, I did make the grips out of a set of ironwood blanks.

That is a FINE looking pistol!

I passed on a Colt Commander today. Looking at your pistol is giving me severe remorse...
