Colt commercial value

It depends on too many factors. Mint (NO scratches), with box and papers is about $900-$1000. If I have the correct mental picture of the one you're looking at, probably about $300 less.

Thanks, I was afaid of that. The shop wants $900, which I thought was probably too much. I was hoping someone would say it was a good buy.

westendg, can you tell us the approximate serial number and your impression of the condition? You said it was mint except for a nasty take-down scratch. Was there anything else you noticed? Does it come with the original box?

I will have to take another look at it the next time I get to the shop that has it. All I remember about the serial # is that it ended in C. The blueing was very nice probably 99%. The take down scatch was done by one of the employees at the shop. At least that is what I was told. The price started out at $1100. I do think $850 would probably by it. Thanks
