More Series 70 1911's at the show today than I can remember seeing in a long time.

Of special interest were two excellent condition in box late 70's or early 80's Combat Commanders in 9mm for $650 each. Guy was selling off a dead relative's collection and wanted names and other information of buyers.

I am not in the habit of passing my home address to strangers who know I own guns, so I passed. I had already spent some cash anyway. One was really nice & tight though.

Lots of other 1911s. Lots of Trophy Gold Cups being sold by both dealers and individuals walking around. $800+ for excellent condition depending on whether series 70 or 80.

As a side note, literally saw a dozen Colt SP1s offered for sale, likely in anticipation of the ban not being renewed.
