A friend and I got in a discussion about his Colt. He said that he had a Delta in .45. I didn't know that they made one. Have seen it and that is what he has. He ordered one from Colt in 10.. and it came in .45 acal. He kept it and reordered. Got the 10mm the second time. Is this an unusual gun, or not. Says .45 on the frame and has delta grips. Any info would be appreciated. This one has got me thinking.

Anything is possible with Colt. They have put out so many special issues and special orders like those to Lew Horton, that there is no telling whats really a factory goof or some kind of special run. Anyhow, I think it sounds special.

As per what Ken said, just take a look at my posting on the Gold Cup Commanders.

Sometimes there is just no telling with Colt.
