Colt magazine
Firing a Colt Govt. model with 7 round Colt factory magazine; when I fire the sixth round, the seventh round jumps clear of the magazine as the sixth empty ejects. This is hardball ammo and the magazine has only been used for about 300 rounds. When this takes place the slide also locks back. Been shooting 1911s for many years but never had this to happen before.
Any advise appreciated. Thanks.
