I've had it happen but don't fully understand why the last round goes skyward like a loaded smokestack in My officer's model. There is a raised dimple on the follower to hold the last round in place so that's not the problem. Is it the design of the mag. lips?I've done as in the past by going to aftermarket mags. but why don't these factory mags. work ? Every one else seems to make fully functioning mags. at half the cost of the colt product!tom.

I've had that problem with my Detonics, but only when using a mag without the dimpled follower. Go figure.

Yeah,I'm dumbfounded. The McCormick's don't have a dimple and work fine,Colt's have the dimple and malfunction! You'd think Colt mags. in a Colt gun would be the best set up.tom.
