Here's mine with Series 70 features, but internally a series 80.

Sadly Colt does not have more pistols without the Series 80 mechanical firing pin safety. If you go to their web site you can see which pistols have what.

They even have a category for Series 70 and it has only three pistols.

And of course the Talo/Colt Wiley Clapp line is Series 70, and I still see ANVIIIs new in gun stores and they are also.
