Any one know if Colt made a Combat commander series 80 in nickel finish during the early and/or mid 80's. My dealer is offer one in 98% with serial # FC09xxx for sale for $650. Is this a good deal. Thanks in advance for any info.

The Combat Commander in satin nickel was discontinued in 1986. A gun in 100% condition is valued at $575.00 according to the Fjestad Blue Book 22nd edition.

yes they did until 1986 and it was electroless nickel, very similar to the sig nickled guns.
