Combo mill/lathe

I got a catalog in the mail from Smithy. They have a combo mill lathe that looks pretty good. They used Bob Munden for a reference. Do any of you uses a combo mill lathe? My needs are to be able to cut dovetails for sights, install different sights, make small pins, setback barrels, etc. Handgun work only.

Get a full size mill and a seperate lathe when you need it, Enco has mills starting at around $750 with free shipping. The combo mill/lathes I have heard about are pretty good for lathe work, taping holes and drilling holes, but for accurate milling they suck because of the giant spacer you need between the table and the work piece for small parts like slides and frames when you are working on their sides.
