Have a chance to pick up this RIA FS Tac II 10 mm at a pretty good price IMHO. I helped the range gunsmith reassemble it couple weeks ago. When owner got it and others home he disassembled 4 RIA 1911A-1s and mixed up all the parts. You can imagine what happened. Early this week the gunsmith told me what happened and asked me for help. Looked through the parts and picked out the “ correct looking” parts. I did a very simple trigger job on pistol, put it back together and gunsmith loved it. He calls the owner and now its for sale, and offered it to me. Have been a Colt guy for over 50 years and recently bought a Canik and Tisas. BTW, good friend has one , did a trigger job on his and fired a mag, was impressed. and he is tickled pink with his. If I get it will have to buy reloading dies, .40 bullets, shell holder and expensive ammo. So, whats the general opinion of these RIA’s?????

Finally! 100 rnds at 15 yards in just a function test. After getting extractor problem resolved now have 2 magazine that need “ adjustment”. The Wilson mags. were perfect so may p/u a few more. Changed aiming point from 6 to lower on the “9” on target is reason for 2 groups. Friend shot few too. Helped the smith fix another 1911, had the worst trigger on Any 1911 I’ve pulled trigger on, wont mention mfg….

Shot RIA 10 mm for accuracy at 15 yds, 50 rounds without a glitch fired in timed fire mode. Next visit will be fired off rest. I’m happy as a pig in slop. Off brand holes are from FN Hi Power. Gunsmith buddy shot some too as he put the red dot for aiming point. Put the last 1911 together for him from a bag of “ parts”. He loaded a magazine , dumped it with no issues in about 15 seconds.

Yea I know, loaded 200 rounds of 10 mm today and will load another few hundred next week.
Have noticed how Clean the primer pockets are in 10 mm Blazer brass, must be the new improved primers Federal/ CCI are using?
