Well, I finally found a holster I like, and it was suprisingly affordable. It's a suede Bianchi model IWB, simple, and it fits my 1911's great. They slip in easily, and come out with no hang up. Now, my question. Where physically should it be placed on the belt line? Near the buckle, or behind the hip? Anywhere else that's comfortable?

Start with the holster at the seam of your pants and then work it arond until you find the spot that offers the best comfort and concealment for you. Everyone is different.
