I just picked this up from buddy of mine. It started out as as Springfield Compact Lightweight .45 model #PX9503L. Modifications are as follows:

4.0" BarSto ramped bull barrel.
25 LPI hand checkered front strap.
Clark Custom full length guide rod with reverse plug.
Genuine Novak sights with tritium insert on the front.
All of the ignition parts and internals are Wilson Combat
Wilson Combat beavertail.
Wilson Combat Armor-Tuff finish in black.
Black checkered micarta grips.
4.5 lb. trigger job.

The Springfield factory mags have been upgraded with Wilson Combat springs and followers and also finished in the Armor Tuff black finish. I also given two new stainless Wilson mags for it. There is also a Smith & Alexander aluminum magwell finished in Wilson's Armor-Tuff coating. This gun has had approx. 500 rounds through it. Came with a Milt Sparks VMII.

My understanding is the PX9503L was discontinued by Springfield? Is that correct? It is a true joy for CCW. I have read a lot of different opinions on Wilson’s Armor-Tuff finish. Since I am using this as my primary carry gun I am waiting to see how the finish will hold up.
