I never had to return my (slightly used) Custom II for fitting, but I did call Kimber to see how old it was based on serial number...and they promptly told me. I've been pretty happy with mine.
The Warranty is for one year to the original owner from date of purchase. I have never needed to contact them except to register them for the warranty. I do not know what the CS department offers at your cost. Better to call them as find out what services they offer. Mine have been 100% since NIB. No issues and no complaints, quite the opposite.I have an opportunity to pick up a very slightly used Custom II 10mm. In the event that issues crop up, how is Kimber when dealing with a customer who bought a used gun? I’m hoping to never need their customer service, but I hope they would stand behind their product even though I’m not the original owner.
