If you had the choice to have highly polished flats or the regular way they come on the CZ 1911, which would you go for?

I assume you already saw my comparison review on the General Discussion page (https://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=497620), and I made note of the fact that the flats on the CZ are apparently pre-polished before giving them a beadblasted satin finish. It wouldn't be too hard to polish the flats again and refinish the pistol if you wanted.

I actually like the finish - it has a retro look to it - though somewhat refined. And it's good to know from dsk that if you want a custom then polishing/refinishing shouldn't be a hassle.

Hmm... how about an all-over high polish done in Turnbull's charcoal blue?
