The 1942 lend-lease surplus being reimported now seems a bit stale and erratic, but it shoots. Usually. Hydra-Shok has not been on the market long enough to deteriorate unless stored very badly. Buy some fresh to carry and shoot what you have for practice or comp. I know no way of dating commercial ammo unless the company would ID it by lot number... which I doubt they would bother with.
