Hi, what's the deal with Davidson's unconditional warranty? A local dealer in Orange, CA told me his products were covered so if I blew it up, or ran it over with my truck the gun is replaced at no cost. Is this true or is it a flop?

I have yet have to deal with Davidson's myself, but here is what I've been told by others who have...

They honor the guarantee forever. If the gun ever fails, and you choose to not go through the manuf. they will take care of it. I know of one person on the rugerforum.com that had to send his Ruger back to them for some difficulty (can't remember specifically) - and said that they were very quick and fixed the problem no questions asked. Though, I don't see why he didn't send it back to Ruger, since from what I've heard their customer service is excellent.
