Hello,

I'm repairing a few of my STI magazines, and I was wondering if anyone had experience with the Dawson basepads. I've been using Arredondo base pads until now. I understand that the Dawson basepads are easier to remove.

I have been using the Dawson basepads since they came out. IMO, they are a little expensive, but are superb in every way. You get increased capacity and they are very easy to remove without coming off inadvertently. They are also very durable, I highly reccomend them.

Yes, the Dawson's are easier to remove and install. You don't need a tool to depress the spring plate which isn't even used with a Dawson pad.
