I'm guessing they certified this model first due to it's "legitimacy" as a competition weapon. There have been rumblings in the legislature to treat "competition" weapons differently, mainly for Olympic-style guns, but where would they draw the line on competition?
I can't imagine that it's a big seller for BAER, not like the Thunder Ranch or even the Concept ones.
