what causes a leather belt to squeak? I have a belt that squeaks where the holster is, and where the mag pouch is on the belt. It also squeaks if I grab the belt and just move it with my hand.
Thank you,

The belt, holster, amga pouch squeeks because of the leather sliding on leather.

I have used C. Rusty Sherrick's HYDE GLYDE to smooth out the squeeks. http://www.c-rusty.com

Raspy you can also quiet the squeeks with a lite dusting of talcum powder or a very lite silicone spray. I have had pretty good results with the talc. Dust it on and then wipe it down to remove the excess. Should be much quieter after.

Silicone wil do the job also, but may soften the leather if used in excess.
