I've been looking at buying one for a good carry gun, but I want to know if I can get tritium sights for it or not.

the are standard tenon style cuts for the sights. You would have to machine the slide for a novak, dovetail cut etc.. I don't know of any tritium/nights sights that are not novak cut, dovetail.

Front sigt tenon is .82 differnt than narrow or wide tenon. they still might have some in brownells. the rear sight is the standard gi sight cut. You should be able to put on night sights with out dovetail front sight.

Novak, for one, sells a "Novak style" rear sight that will fit the g.i. (Mil-Spec) dovetail. Its available in all black, white dots, or tritium vials. Sells for about $90. The drawback is that it sits high on the slide. I put one on a Colt CC, and its fine, but looks a little aftermarketish.
