I have seen these 1911 magazines only in Brownell's and know of 1 person who uses them and likes them. I have been using Metalform mags. for years on my CCW's but am considering switching to something with a removable base pad for my competition guns for easier cleaning/maintenance. The Mag Pack mags. appear to have some good features such as a ball bearing in the follower for more positive slide lock, removable base pad, etc. If anyone uses this brand and can comment on their quality and reliability compared to Wilson's mags., I'd appreciate it.

I have 2 of their 8 rounders which should have about 2000 round each through them. Never caused me a problem and I've yet to give them a good cleaning.

Wilson's are about $3-4 more but have a sterling reputation.
