Forged frame, slide and barrel. Most of the remaining parts are cast, MIM, or plastic.

yes. i called colt to ask this same question, and got the same answer as above. if you call them, be very careful....i asked the guy if the trigger was "plastic", and he made it clear to me that they were "composite". no diff to me. good, friendly help though.

Yes they are forged and forged is superior to castings, though more costly to produce.
