I am looking for a pistolsmith to mill two dovetails on a .45 slide for installing new sights. One is 60 degrees and one 65. I have a diagram and am willing to mail the slide for service. Front can be cut thru existing sight without welding up first. Rear would have to be opened up. Reasonable charges, please. E-mail me or respond here. Many thanks.

Slide is an Argentine Colt, nothing super hard, just standard military 1911A1. Sights are Pro Sight V-Max, Brownell's #611-021-101. Manufacturer wants $85 to cut dovetails. I'm retired and that is a chunk for me. However, I have been out of touch for some time. That may be the going rate. What do you know?
