It should have a 12lb spring from Dan Wesson?
They don't make as many PM45 as the PM7 because the PM7 is California legal and the PM45 is not. There are a few out there for sale.A PM-45 is on my radar to buy, can't find them though. I see PM-7's but not PM-45's....dang.
I called CZ the other week because I was in the same situation. They said they were doing a 50 unit run this Fall. I ended up finding one by scouring the internet for several days.A PM-45 is on my radar to buy, can't find them though. I see PM-7's but not PM-45's....dang.
That's great to hear, I'd buy one in a heartbeat but again, they're nearly impossible to find. Thanks for the heads up!I called CZ the other week because I was in the same situation. They said they were doing a 50 unit run this Fall. I ended up finding one by scouring the internet for several days.
The shop I bought mine has it listed OOS online so I must’ve bought his only one. If I see one for sale, I’ll try to circle back. Good luck with your search. I found mine in about 2 weeks but I think I stumbled upon a hidden gem. I was starting to debate spending more for a Specialist or settling for a PM-7 .45. I was hoping to get it before my birthday (Spring) or else I prob would’ve just placed an order with a local dealer understanding I wouldn’t see it till Fall - EOYThat's great to hear, I'd buy one in a heartbeat but again, they're nearly impossible to find. There's actually 3 that caught my eye:There's A PM45 on GB now. I'm not familiar with the seller, has a few sales under his belt, good rating, so due diligence.
Can anyone confirm whether the current Pointman series of guns come with a full length guide rod; more specifically the PM-45?
Thanks
I disassemble the same way but it’s really easy using a GI setup as well not sure why a FLGR is neededSo I did pick up a new PM-45 and love it. As discussed it does not come with a FLGR. However, EGW is 20 minutes from my home so I picked up one of their FLGR. The reason I prefer a FLGR is I always disassemble a 1911 by removing the slide first so I can remove the bushing without the barrel being in battery/lockup (per Rob Schauland). Having a FLGR makes this process so much easier (at least for me).
Just sayin'
