I was looking for a older kimber, not really concerned with it having a Clackamas marking, just a earlier model. I was speaking with a dealer and he said he has a Yonkers marked custom classic k0044xx for $660, this serial number doens't make sense with the Clackamas marked guns going to the 6-7k mark. I searched and couldn't come up with any thing to explain it. What is your earliest marked Yonkers?

Thanks for any help

Could the serial numbers have started over after they moved? Possibly a change in prefix? The local gun store has an early Yonkers gun with purplish slide and plastic trigger, I'll check out the number tomorrow when I buy more powder.

Greetings,

First time posting to this forum, but have been eavesdropping for some time. I have a Clackamas Custom Classic Series I with the serial # K004xxx. Is the Clackamas production becoming collectable? It sure does shoot good!:)
