Looking for exotic wood for SA UltraCompact grips. I wonder about a birdseye maple. I have cocobola on my other 1911, but cocobola seems sort of run-of-the-mill.
Cherry might be an option. We have access to Myrtle nearby. Only two places in the world grow that stuff, Oregon coast and Jerusalem. But I don't see a lot of myrtle craft shops offering 1911 grips.
I'll check Brownell's . . . any place else I should look?

What part of "shall not be infringed" needs 'splainin' ???
