I am using a set of Lee dies for loading my 45. When I use the expander die it is very difficult to remove the case from the die when I raise the handle. At first I thought it wasn't adjusted right, so I adjusted it again according to the directions and I'm still having the problem. The flare is just barely wide enough to seat the bullet.

Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing... offers resistance when the case comes back out of the die. As long as you are expanding just enough to get the bullet into the case, I wouldn't worry about it... unless, of course it's VERY difficult to remove. If it is really difficult to remove, you might try polishing the plug with some 600 grit sandpaper; otherwise, give Lee a call.
