does any one know if the blued magwells match the eclipse models?and if the flat or arched mainspring housings are preffered over one another. thanks

It doesn't matter because the instalation requires welding and filing. which will mean that you will most likely refinish the frame.

I just rejoined the 1911 world and have also bought an Eclipse. If you are talking about the add on type of magwell then the color will not be too far off. I had an extra one on hand and while it is not a perfect match it is close. The one I have is from Ed Brown so I don't know how others might compare.I will probably add one to mine.
