Look into an old Ithaca Saddlegun

When I was a kid, my dad bought me an Ithaca .22 deluxe saddlegun. It was patterned after a Winchester lever-action, but had a martini-henry falling block action. Single shot of course, with the action lever looking like the lever on a Winchester '94. Mine had very nice wood, with a gold hammer and trigger. Buckhorn sights. Very accurate for an 18" barrel. I loved it, but somehow, it either got traded, sold or just disappeared along the way. Wish I still had it.

Just found one on GunBroker new production $175.00

My grand-daddy paid $3.00 new for the one I use and I can still shoot the balls off a gnat at 50 feet flyin' with it... :biglaugh:
