Would a finish like this be of interest to you? Thinking about taking orders to do this finish on customer guns if there is enough interest.
Air gun Trigger Wood Gun barrel Gun accessory

Could be done on both slide and frame or one or the other. Consists of bluing the pieces then polishing off the flats and doing the CCH treatment.

Starting with a bare slide, $250. Starting with a blued slide and just polishing the flats and CCH $125.
Same prices for frame only.
Bare frame and slide $400. Blued Slide and frame $300.

I think it is beautiful and would be happy to add to my safe a firearm finished this way.

No thank you, I never really cared for the case-hardened look.
Interesting, but no thank you. Just an old stick in the mud. On Autos, Blue or nickel with stainless in 3rd place.

I think I like it, but I have a hard time getting a feel for it without grips.
looks like all bloody to me. But good luck with your finishing plans and goals. NV
Looks cool to me, but I can already see I'm in the minority.
Brother, I love your work, but I don't think that finish is going to make it.
Thanks for the input. I guess I'll just keep it to myself.
Case coloring looks good on period guns, but out of place on modern guns.

I agree with USMM guy, on period weapons it looks great. Would I want it on my Python, pass. Now my Ruger Blackhawk might look just fine.

Got what I needed to know.

Mods you can close this one.
Interesting but not my cup of tea. Good luck on your endeavors though!
I'd take a pass on it, but that said, I'm very much a traditionalist. Good luck with your endeavor.
