Purchase permits finally came in and I was able to pick up my already paid for Colt Delta Elite. It's been a while since I last posted on this so i'll tell you a little about the gun. It is a blued, NIB, unfired Colt Delta Elite in complete factory stock form. The only thing I currently added to the gun are the Hogue grips and Wilson Combat stainless hex head grip screws. The stock Delta Elite grips are mint and I didn't want them to get messed up, so I took them off and stuck them in my safe. Here is a (crappy) pic of the gun. Sorry for the poor quality, my digital camera is a real POS. This pic in no way does this fine pistol justice.

EDIT: See updated pic below.

Fine, fine arm. I have been looking relentlessly for a Delta Elite in my area to no avail. Congrats on your fine purchase. Let us know how it goes when you get to "test drive" it.

Congrats on the Delta ! I also have one and love it alot. As soon as you can though I would replace the recoil spring and guide with a full length version of a King's, or Wilson. The stock one's just don't do the pistol justice and I have found the full length version I went with (Wilson W/Shock buffers) makes it a little more accurate. It will help soften the battery of the slide to frame also from the mighty 10mm round.

Long live the 10mm !
