Hi

To day i finaly received my parkerized Mil-Spec and it is a NM. :)
I have only fired 20 rounds thru it, all without problems.
This is my first 1911 and I have only shot with a 1911 twice before.
Must say it feelt sweet, actually it seems that I shoot better with
this than with my H&K USP Custom Sport 9x19.

I just took a gear proon picture.

Damn I love this gun...

I too am new to 1911 style handguns after carrying revolvers for many years. I did my research and bought a Mil-Spec as you did. I am completely happy with my choice as I seem to shoot better also with it just as you said.

I made a few mods but mostly looks as it shot straight and true right out of the box. I'd like to put night sights on it but the ones that came on it ain't bad and i can get very close groups with it.

happy shooting!

Hi

Yes, i really like it.
Unfortunately I discoverd what I think is toolmarks in the barrel yesterday. :bawling:
Located about 15mm down the barrel, stretching towards the muzzle.
It seems to shoot fine tho. I have dropped a mail to SA but hope they can compensate me without sending my gun back. (I live in Sweden so the turn
around time would be long...)

I have fired 120 rounds thru it now without any problems.
Im not that good at shooting handguns but as I said it feels better tha my USP.
Shot this using both hands to day from 15 yards.

I also did some one hand shooting from 27 yards and got all but one hit within
the 9 ring.
