Finish question???
Would it be better to go with a bar stock Caspian frame and slide that is hard chromed?Or would a stainless frame and slide be better?I worry about galling with stainless steel.Would galling be a concern with a hard chrome finish?
Can chrome be bead-blasted like SS to give a matte finish?I live in a very humid area and had lots of trouble with a blued Kimber until I had it Parkerized.Its better but not great.Would hard chrome be the most durable finish for IWB carry in hot and humid conditions?Does anyone have any links for examples of hard chromed 1911's?Or any pics they could e-mail to me?Sorry such a long question.Thanx.
