I purchased my first gun, my first 1911, and lost my gun show virginity all in the same weekend.

I'm looking for a good range holster that can also double as a carry rig. I was considering the fobus roto (360) model, but am conserned how Kydex will wear the finish on my TRP.

Don't worry about finish wear. Some "use" wear(as opposed to abuse wear)will give your pistol some character and make it clear that you didn't just fall off the turnip truck.
