My firing pin stop allows my extractor to rotate a slight bit, so I need to fit a new one.

I have no doubt that I can do it myself, but can you folks suggest some oversize firing pin stops for me?

Thanks

P.S.-The pistol is a Colt XS GM

Wilson Combat makes a Bulletproof FP stop. Should be slightly oversided, but don't quote me on that. Mine is in the mail.

EGW is thicker and wider than stock. It also has a square edge, rather than a radius at the bottom. It can be whittled into whatever size/shape you want.

Just remember that when fitting, any material that must be removed, should be filed from the right side of the FP stop. Remove metal from the left side, and you will want to order a new ejector as well.

Shane finally I get to diagree with you!
KooL!

always file away at the left, schumer, Klinton, always file away on the left.

actually if the opening in the slide is small
say .475 you will want to take even off both sides, the hole will be off center and the firing pin will drag if U take a lot off the right only.

If you use a calliper as a paralell guide you can keep it strait easly as you wittle

Thanks Rick
