I wanted to use a flat trigger for my 1911 build but the gunsmith said the one I got - Wilson Combat - wouldn't work. I forget the exact reasoning, but it had something to do with the size of the trigger (I think the bow specifically).
This is the Wilson trigger - http://www.brownells.com/handgun-pa...t-match-trigger-sku965000064-26350-51737.aspx
I see that 10-8 makes one also - http://www.brownells.com/handgun-pa...-8-flat-trigger-sku100003159-24702-50876.aspx
As you can see, the bows are definitely different and maybe that difference is what caused the problem. I'd have to talk to the smith again to confirm.
I'm wondering if anyone has run into this before and conform whether the 10-8 trigger works better? Does anyone else make a flat trigger that works well?
