That's what HK does on USP Compact.But...but... now it's not a horse pistol! Actually guys have been doing that since the '70s and many people like how it carries AND how it shoots. We called it "bobbed" - not "flush". Never really caught on like them beaver tails though..... Now bob the hammer flush with the slide. Now you got something.

No, not for concealment...more for comfort. I like the way it feels much more than the GI style grip safety and it enables easier reach/access to the thumb safety as well.
